Vaishali Gade has been active in numerous Indian American organizations across New England, serving the community. As the President of the India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB), she spearheaded pivotal initiatives that brought Indian American culture into the mainstream. Her efforts culminated in a groundbreaking event—the first-ever India Celebration at a Major League Baseball game, featuring the Red Sox. This historic occasion showcased the rich cultural heritage of India to a broad audience. Her leadership extends to a variety of innovative programs designed to unite the community and foster diverse talents- such as Discover India Series, Jr. Shark Tank Competition, the Unity Walk, and the Seniors Expo, each providing unique platforms for engagement and skill development. Her current role as President of the New England Marathi Mandal reflects her dedication to celebrating and promoting Marathi culture and heritage, fostering cultural exchange and integration within the community.
For over a decade, Vaishali has passionately volunteered as a language and culture teacher at Shishubharti, an Indian language and culture school, nurturing a deep appreciation for Indian traditions and love for Marathi language among young learners. Additionally, as a board member of Anubhuti, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating destitute children in Western Maharashtra, she plays a crucial role in organizing fundraisers and sourcing funds, to bring education to destitute children.
